Another why......As a teacher of sustainable business practices, it was important to me to model sustainable practices and engage in a change in behavior with regard to sustainable actions.   AND, this was a fun way to engage all the students!  Thanks Team.  Thanks NWEI for this challenge!

I had not heard of it at all.  co-existance is the biggest advantage of silvopasture.

I'm going to buy a set of durable, reusable, colorful glass straws and give them out as stocking stuffers this Christmas.

I have been riding my bike to school more lately. 

The first day I was able to ride to work in a while!  That in itself made a great beginning of the week!!!

I will not toss so much food as the dates are practically meaningless and more serves the producers.  However,  buying less to begin with and what you need for the immediate future will reduce the waste as I feel that date stamp has a huge psychological effect.

What a beautiful Earth Day.  I was so nice to enjoy the sunshine and mild temperature.....for a change.  Started preparing the garden!

Road my bike to work 3 times this week (and that's on a bike built in the early 1990's)..

Sustainable water future in my region would result in less drought and higher water levels in rivers and lakes.
