    Food Reduce Animal Products
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than other countries, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

I have heard that eating meat typically goes hand-in-hand with affluence. I think this is a large piece of it...I definitely began eating more red meat after I had a full-time job. Shifting this focus will take time and education, this will be slow for the needle to move, but it can happen

Food Keep Track of Wasted Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

This is an interesting question because I find myself eating out more so that I can control my food waste or buying smaller portions (which typically raises cost per ounce).  I think I need to review my purchase decisions again to see how I can keep costs down while keeping my waste down too.
