I'm going to miss this challenge -  working with a team to challenge our habits, our knowledge, and our ability to make positive change in the world. It's been a good experience for me. I'll find ways to keep my energy focused on being more conscious of the carbon I am responsible for releasing, and to help others to learn how they also can reduce atmospheric carbon. Bye Greenies!

Some clothing items are available, even locally made. Yay! Also like to buy hemp clothing from local makers. We grow bamboo for our garden needs for stakes and bean ladders.

Overpopulation - we forgot "there are limits" and limits are okay, even good. It's unsustainable to be in a petri-dish with 7 billion others, right before the last cell division... Individuals absolutely can step up to make needed changes now. Run for office, speak to officials, write a law, policy, white paper, op ed... start a group, start a discipline practice, learn more... build resiliency. Time to be brave and show up in new ways!

Beyond carbon sequestration, what other benefits do forests offer you personally?

Just learned about Forest Stewardship seal of approval category for wood products! Very good. Will be paying more attention to that in the store and in conversations with people. The forest offers a sacred place to return mind and body to balance.

Easy to get rid of palm oil. But hard to find local oils. Hazel nut oil?

Hit and miss, but really like the idea of coming and going with the challenge when time permits...

Tomorrow is our last day. Thanks to everyone who challenged themselves to learn new information and take on new, habits. It's been a successful event from my perspective. How did the ecochalenge go for you?

Gender inequality sucks, in the U.S., and even worse in many developing countries. Got to keep working on helping women to get an education, to have control over their reproductive rights, and encourage countries to provide affordable education through high school.

Love that local, nutritious food. I have peas coming up, fava beans blooming, tomato starts still waiting to be planted. Soon we will be eating our own home grown food.
