Finally have had time to accomplish my challenges!  Kudos to all the teams that have done so many!

There are several Grain Storage buildings in downtown petaluma, also potentially some of the surrounding hills and parkland.

At Earth Day, I connected with a local provider of solar panels and will coordinate a time to get them more information about the possibility of installing them on our roof : >)

got a good rating on the online energy audit. Unfortunately, not much we can do in the way of major improvements as we are tenants. But we can reduce electricity usage and make sure all the bulbs are efficient.  Our landloard does have solar on the farm, and uses that for the other units... so that's good. 

Replaced our shower head in the master bath.

My house got a good score in the online energy audit. Recommended to get rid of our second fridge which is our kegerator :(

A learned behavior originating from the animal farmer mentality which was prevalent in much of the US. Fast food is a huge business here and number one on their marketing list is the "All American" Burger or Hotdog with a side of greasy french fries. We need more delicious vegetarian options at all types of restaurants and nutrition...

Riding my bike to town, work, home... has, in more than one occasion, made me aware of social events that were taking place and which I attended spontaneously, meeting people, listening to live music, exploring new foods, etc... Experiences that I would not have had if I had been sitting in a car driving home alone.
