It is overwhelming to think about trying to protect forestlands-in light of the insatiable appetite people have for land use. I am hopeful based on this exercise, that we can be more aware, and thoughtful about land, and it's many complexities, and all the things that can come from a few acres!

Any action we do is about finding balance. The balance of soil and sun, warmth and cool, all plays in to what will grow and survive, balance of covering the soil, with forest to keep soil in place, while having crops that can feed the earths creatures,;that is true sustainability.

What inspires me to work on sustainable energy is thinking about the future generations. These future kids turned adults don’t need the problems that we can fix before they turn into problems. We can fix this all and put the earth and civilization down a good path if we all work together and start right now.
