April 25 at 5:39 PMFor about 30 meals a year, I'm not sure where the meat comes from, and if it is beef, that is likely impacting deforestation. Also coffee, tropical fruit (e.g.coconut, mango, pineapple) and cheap palm oil in processed food. Stop eating processed food; eat less meat of unknown origin, buy at the farmer's market; eat seasonally and locally;

I think we need to have more people pledge to eat less/no meat and explaining to their friends/ family why they are doing so, so that it becomes more of a thing. All food needs to pay true cost, whether it is environmental damage, cleanup, carbon footprint, etc. If meat were 4-10X more...

April 25 at 5:32 PMI had not heard of silvopature before. Multiple advantages: more climate-change resilient pasture ecosystem; the land has stacked economic functionality (e.g. beef/milk + trees + shrooms +tree nuts/maple syrup) all from; better production from the grazers; less erosion;

April 23 at 9:13 AMI was able to do this by taking a class from SFCC about wetland ecology. It is beautiful and surprising, and I was surprised how much carbon they sequester!
